In this project, I completed the Windows Server 2022 Administration Course, where I gained practical experience in configuring and managing Windows Server environments. The hands-on labs involved configuring Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and various other key server roles. This project enhanced my skills in server administration and prepared me for real-world IT infrastructure management.
Windows Server Configuration: Set up and configured Windows Server 2022, including installation, management, and roles such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
Active Directory Management: Created and managed users, groups, and organizational units (OUs), and applied group policies to manage user settings and security.
Server Roles & Features: Installed and configured essential server roles and features to optimize system performance and improve network services.
Security Configuration: Configured security policies, firewall settings, and security updates to ensure the server’s protection against vulnerabilities.
Troubleshooting & Support: Addressed common server issues, performed maintenance tasks, and implemented disaster recovery strategies.
In this project, I completed the Microsoft 365 Administration Course, which covered core administrative tasks in managing Microsoft 365 environments. The course included hands-on labs and simulations where I configured and managed Microsoft 365 services like Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint. This project helped me develop a strong foundation in Microsoft 365 administration and prepare for real-world enterprise environments.
Microsoft 365 Services: Gained experience managing essential Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
Hands-On Labs: Configured and managed Microsoft 365 admin tasks through practical simulations, including user and group management, security settings, and troubleshooting.
User and License Management: Managed user accounts, groups, and licenses using the Microsoft 365 admin center and PowerShell.
Security Configuration: Applied security best practices like Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), password policies, and compliance features to enhance organizational security.
Troubleshooting & Support: Conducted troubleshooting exercises to resolve common issues related to user access, permissions, and service health.
In this project, I completed the Master Ticketing System & Help Desk Fundamentals section of the Ticketing System course. The course provided a comprehensive overview of how ticketing systems like Jira and Zendesk are essential for managing IT service requests and customer inquiries. I gained hands-on experience with both platforms, learning how to create and manage tickets, troubleshoot issues, and optimize help desk operations to provide efficient support.
Jira & Zendesk Integration: Configured and compared both Jira and Zendesk ticketing systems, understanding the unique features of each platform and how they integrate to streamline IT support processes.
Ticket Lifecycle Management: Managed the entire lifecycle of a ticket from creation to resolution, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution using best practices.
Customizing Workflows: Tailored workflows, queues, and automations in both Jira and Zendesk to ensure optimal service delivery and improve team productivity.
Reporting & Metrics: Utilized built-in reporting tools in both platforms to track performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize ticket handling for continuous improvement.
Best Practices for IT Support: Implemented best practices in ticket prioritization, customer communication, and escalation management to ensure efficient and high-quality support.
This project involves setting up an Active Directory (AD) environment using VirtualBox to simulate a domain controller and integrate Windows 10 clients. You’ll learn to configure AD DS, DNS, and DHCP services, as well as manage users and groups in the AD environment.
This project began as a simple, cost-saving attempt to replace a cracked iPhone screen. What started as a DIY fix turned into a hands-on exploration of precision, problem-solving, and creativity. This experience highlighted the critical importance of a methodical, steady approach—skills that are essential in IT support, desktop troubleshooting, and even cybersecurity.
Hardware Troubleshooting & Repair: Carefully diagnosed and repaired a cracked iPhone screen, showcasing precision and technical skill in hardware troubleshooting.
Attention to Detail: Applied surgical-like precision in working with delicate components such as wires, seals, and adhesives.
Tools & Techniques: Utilized tools such as a heat gun, prying tool, and sealant to ensure a successful repair without damaging internal components.
Problem-Solving: Encountered and overcame various challenges during the repair process, reinforcing the value of resourcefulness and patience in technical work.
Resourcefulness: Searched for tools and instructional resources (YouTube tutorials), further developing my ability to independently solve technical problems.
This project involves building and configuring a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment in the cloud with multiple machines running key security tools. The setup includes Elastic Stack for log management, Mythic for Command and Control (C2), and osTicket for incident management, all orchestrated to detect, analyze, and respond to security threats.
In this project, I built and configured a Malware Analysis Lab using FLARE VM and Windows 10 on a Let’sDefend-powered setup. The goal was to create a safe, isolated environment for analyzing malware samples and developing advanced skills in dynamic malware analysis. The lab setup allows me to run malware in a controlled environment while leveraging various security tools for comprehensive analysis, including static analysis and behavioral monitoring.
